Elenco AM-780K Radio Kit
This was a great project to work on during my Electronics lab at North Carolina A&T University. We were provided with the Elenco AM-780K Radio and instructed to assemble the radio and study the inner workings of how each circuit element performed in order to have AM Radio frequencies amplified into audio waveforms experienced from an included speaker.
Below are some images, a video, and a 3D Fusion 360 experience showing how the assembly process went, the radio housing design, along with some amplifier data sheets for comparison to follow. Feel free to click on an image for more information and a larger view.
